I can tell you that traffic was terrible through the eastbound construction area around Easton during the day and early evening on Friday.  Maybe because of Easter but opening day should bring plenty of traffic too.

I worked Teanaway on the opener. Heard some but couldn't locate them (there were other hunters too) all I went home with were two ticks and a black widow lol.

Anybody know if the recent snowfall in the cascades has hit the Teanaway area?

Snowed a couple of inches at our place just east of CleElum.  It already has melted off up to the 25-2700 foot level other than deposits that may be in very few shaded areas that don't get direct sunlight all day.

I am attaching the current pic of the Blewett Pass Summit.  Higher and more east than much of the area most will hunt in the Teanaway I imagine, you can see how much snow is gone and none left from this morning.

Good link is this one to the WSDOT Camera: http://wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/cccam.aspx?cam=1138

Got a late start yesterday... snow is pretty much gone except were there is no sun hitting it. Lite pressure but it is a weekday.  We will see what tomorrow has in store for us. Wind is howling right now.

been out a couple of times.  Not nearly the birds this year.  Most of my good spots have way to much snow.  I don't hang out in the valley.  Way to many people.  Just to let everyone know if your up on the cleelum ridge road be careful.  They are now enforcing no motorized vehicles.  punishable with a 1000.00 fine.  They have let it slide the past few years.  No more!!!!
