Thanks!  They don't hold still very long either Rasbo.  It was with the 400 and 2x coupler.  I was hoping for an "eye" shot.  They have the coolest eyes.

gotta laugh,side note.I have two benches I made out of some downed logs I split yrs back.well they are getting weak now and I have been saying I need to replace them,,,,Well a pileated woodpeck has detroyed them,I catch him but he wont stay long enough to get a pic...

 Nice color, that is the nice thing about Canon lenses, much more compatibility with extender's. Nikon is pretty limited unless you either go with a macro, or very high-end super telephoto, in which case you don't really need an extender, they can do a better job in that regard. Nice set.
