Started late in April then had a crippled friend come out for 8 days. But I did get 51 in. Time to roll in May!

First walk of the month = 6miles. Saw my first goslings on the slough. Funny little buggers...

This is the first month that I am doing this, the extra exercise will be good for me. I'm going to try to get a few miles in after mowing tonight but if I can't I'll probably do a few miles on the treadmill to make up for it.

Man. Spring time on the Sammamish river trail is fantastic! Got another six miles in today. I also saw:

Two otters
Two osprey (a pair)
And 7 goslings that hatched between yesterdays walk and todays. I've been watching that nest because it's on the tin roof of a dilapitaded old abandoned cargo bay across the slough. There's been a mature canada goose sitting there constantly for the past 4 weeks at least. Now all I wonder is, how are the babies gonna get down?

Perfect wlking weather.

Same here, got some walking in deep snow and taking in bait.  Really adds tot he workout when you have 60 pounds on your back and most of the walk is uphill, whew!!   :)

Every morning or every evening.

I am glad you started this now I have a goal to keep this up...  Hundred miles you have to keep at least 3 miles every day to make a hundred miles.
