No.  I talked to the lady today.  She said they started going out last week and should all be shipping this week.

I have tried calling knight for the past two days.  They won't answer there phone and won't return messages. hmmmmmmm.  I bet they are getting tired of people calling about when they are going to ship.  I talked to them and well they lied.  The guns were supposed to be here last week and there not. :bash:

I am getting the same run around.   Seems kind of funny....why would a company take all of those pre orders months in advance?   Are they trying to raise operating capital?   If the guns were made, most businesses would want to ship them asap so they could charge the cards....unless they are not made yet.....

talked to them today and i was told we won't be recieving them at the end of may.  The company that makes the bolts sent them the wrong ones.  So they are waiting for the new ones.  It's always something.

That they would be shipping by the end of may. Who know's when we will actually get them.  I guess just look at your credit card online and see when you are missing money.  Then you will know they shipped it.

I've been waiting on mine too. I talked to a lady by email and she said that the thumbhole stocks weren't in yet, but it should ship by the end of may. Also, she noticed that I was from washington, and asked if I would like mine to come WA legal, with the #11 or musket breech plug. I thought before that they came with all of them, but she said they ordinarily ship with the 209. Any of you waiting may want to contact them and tell them you want it WA legal. I'm a little pissed about the wait, but I'm glad she said something because I would have been even more mad if I got it and had to drop another 40 bones on a different breech plug.

In the email she sent me she said I was going to have to pay an extra 40 bucks to have the legal plug and nipple. I will have to call tomorrow.  They told me last week they weren't shipping because they didn't have the right bolts.  Hmmmm.

$40!?  The breech plugs they sell on their site are $22.50.

Heard back from the lady today. She said the thumbholes are in and that they would send mine WA legal. My account is missing a pretty fair chunk of dough too, so it should be on its way soon.

She must have mis-understood which rifle you were referring to.  The $40 she told you about was probably the cost of the conversion kit for a Knight DISC Extreme.  With this 'Western Conversion Kit' you change the bolt action DISC Extreme from a 209 shooter to an 'open breech' Percussion Cap shooter.

Here is a picture of a converted Knight DISC breech area...  This picture shows a #11 Mag cap installed but you can also put in a Musket Nipple and use musket caps.

This is pissing me off.  So knight drafted my account and in the email said they would be sending me a tracking email when it ships.  That was last wednesday.  Am I missing something. Like we charge your account when the gun ships.  Hmmmmmmmmm.  Next time I am going to wait until a product is out on the market.  Screw this pre order crap.  I saw that they were cheaper at bobs any ways.

Congrats trb.  I am so f#cking mad a knight.  They charged my account and haven't shipped my gun.  I came unglued on that lady today. All she could say was we are waiting on the western kit to ship it.  I asked why I was already billed and she said they charged all the bighorns.  What a joke company.

You do not need a Western Kit for a Big Horn!!! a Big Horn is about as western as it gets!  The 'Western Kit' is for the DISC Extreme.  Using the 'Western Kit' with a DISC makes the gun legal for all three Pacific Northwest States.

Here is a Western Kit...

This is a picture of a modified Western Kit installed in one of my DISC's

Do you know who you are talking to at Knight?

OK this thread has been driving me nuts...  I personally know that Knight is doing everything they can to make us happy out here, so I could not handle it any longer I called Knight to see if i might find out some additional information....

teanawayslayer since I do not really know what your name is I could not inquire specifically about your rifle, heck even if I knew your name Knight would not talk to me about your rifle anyway.  What I did find out is, as I talked to Gordy Edwards, he was quite certain that all of the orders for Big Horn's had gone out and there were none on back order.  So if you do not have yours yet it should be there shortly, especially if your card has been charged by Knight.

Once again even though I am not hooked to Knight, I do know that they are ULTRA concerned about providing a service to us hunters and want to respond positively to any and all problems.  I should also say I understand your concern and frustrations if there have been errors.

Please check your PM’s I am adding some information to it you might want to follow up on.

Thanks - mike

Thanks again mike.  I am a pretty understanding person and patient.  This does have me at the end of my rope.  The lady I talked to on thursday told me they were waiting on a breech plug.  She wasn't concerned what so ever that I had already been billed.  Pretty much a slap in the face.  The more I thought about it the more I got fired up.  Knight is just getting back on there feet and I know They are busy getting everything out.  That's fine.  I get it.  But when you have been charged and there is nothing on the way and excuses are piling up.  I know I am not a dealer and didn't buy hundreds of them but I am a paying customer.  Thats what's got me fired up.  I have always had cva's or winchesters.  I have always wanted a knight.  I was so pumped to get my new rifle.  Now I have a bitter taste in my mouth.  I will stop complaining now.  Once again thanks mike.  Maybe I will get a chance to talk to some one in the company that gives a sh!t.

Well I just got off the phone with Gordy Edwards with knight.  What a great individual to work with.  He was not understanding why my gun hadn't shipped because I had been billed.   Anyways a five minuite conversation with him and my gun will be leaving the production floor today bound for cle elum overnight.  It has been a frustrating couple of weeks.  I want to thank Gordy for taking care of me in a big way (he upgraded me to a disc extreme for .20 cents).  I will do business with knight in the future.  The customer service reps I was dealing with are getting a serious a$$ chewing as we speak. Mike Once again thanks for putting me in touch with Gordy!
