Rest opinions

so I am looking at putting a new rest on my bow ,want to get rid of the biscuit and go containment fallaway.So my ? is does anyone have any input or comparisons for the QAD ultra pro,and the ripcord code red. Those are the 2 that i am torn between,Pro's and cons of each would be appreciated

I dont know about the ripcord but love my quad! Easy to tune and have had 0 issues in the year that i have been shooting with it.

My friend switched from the Limb Driver to the QAD and likes it.

The nice thing about the quad is that it will stay up if you draw the bow and let down.  And it has the anti bounce thing going on.  Just make sure you set it up right or it will give ya fits.

QAD!!!! I will NEVER own another hunting rest.

Trophy Taker makes a good rest and it is bullet proof.  Their new smackdowns stay up at full draw.

QAD is a great rest I have never has any problems with mine.

I have tried several different capture rests and currently have a QAD LD Pro on my Maxxis 31 and it is a nice rest but over the last 3 years this has been by far my favorite rest.

There is a slow motion video on the page.  I like the way it holds the arrow with pretty much no play and has complete clearance when it opens up.

I would go with the QAD.  You can have an arrow nocked and the rest in the up position and not worry about a thing.  As for the rip cords I have seen way to many of them launchers break.

QAD for sure, I have had an HD Pro for 3 yrs now with zero problems.

Ripcord code red does everything the Quad pro HD does plus you don't have the felt wearing away on your forks that hold the arrow. At half the price, it has lock down, full containment and locks up so you can leave an arrow in it if you like.

The only drawback imo to the code red is that it dosent have the wheel. On my qad I can cock it by using grip hand. Very quick.

Check out the trophy taker full containment models. They are sweet! smooth and no way for the arrow to come off! Many big game animals have fallen to mine and many more to come.

I've shot the trophy taker for over 10 years and love it.  as far as the "full containment models" make sure you check them out with the sight you have cuz my buddy has one and has some issues nocking his arrows without manipulating it around his hardware (sight box).  with practice you should be able to knock your arrow correctly without looking at it

All he needed to do was move his nocking point.
