Lots of Monroe Bear sign! Go get em boys!

  Went out this afternoon and hiked 5 miles.  Poked my head in and out of the brush looking for peels.  Nothing. .  Since the season started i have seen 2 bears, but I think this is the worst spring to draw a tag weather wise.  Im glad i did though, Im getting a jump on getting in shape.  Still have a few more days.  I did see a million slugs, and one Salamander on the road.

I heard the damage control guys have been stacking a few this past week in both Snohomish and Skagit countys.

Went out all day yesterday with my brother in Skagit area....saw some fresh poop, one new peel and lots old.

2 yotes (one I called in)
a few frogs...
no bear.
Frankly, I was quite surprised at the lack of sign. Im sure they're out there though. I did wave high to a trail camera though...

hiked into the granite side,  was able to glass a sow with a single cub on the move, not able to get the camera out in time.    saw some promising sign, wish I had  a tag this year
