Help Need strings
« on: May 18, 2011, 10:17:13 PM »
So I bought some new strings about six months ago for my mathews, I order them on-line. They are crap I'm having all kinds of peep rotation even after shooting them over and over to get them to stop twisting. I had nock point playing with it for like two hours and I'm still having problems.Plus the serving is allready pulling apart at points on the cams.I have bought about four diffrent kind of strings in the past with the same result except one and that is winners choice and there kind of expensive at 120 for strings. So I need some good advice on some quality string.

Are xxx g stings good?
Do they use Astro flight material  or BCY or both.
I was thinking of nock points strings but I don't know.
What about Vapor trails?

Try Nock Point strings!

G Strings are excellent strings. Cory will get you fixed up right.

Even with a custom string you will need to shoot a couple hundred arrows then set the peep and you shouldn't have any problem with the peep rotation.

Way more shots than a hundred less than six hundred though still have rotation.

Oh I forgot to mention I shot my proline about 10 times put it together started tuning and nothing has budged since. I highly reccomend proline strings and they are very reasonably priced. Can you put your own strings on? If not I may be able to help you out if you just order the strings.

Why not a Winner's Choice?  Just order one and have the guy at the bowshop put it on for you.  Shouldn't have any problems with it.

What custom strings are you shooting that you aren't getting peep alignment with?

I've got a Winner's Choice string on my Z7. Probably have a 1000 shots on it. Great string/cable. No rotation problems at all.
