All good areas are you Oregon or Washington Res. hunter, Bow or Rifle? If it's still the same all those units are 3 point or better for Rifle.  I  used to hunt Saddle if you get a cow tag it's a slam dunk.  bull tag different story definitely alot of elk, I knew the area and would get in to 70 plus a day but a ton of cows seen some big bulls in Saddle though 7 plus. But the big bulls usually stick together when you see groups of bulls they were usually 5X5's and bigger together.  Their are areas where you can park your truck at the top of main line and coast down on your bike guaranteed you'll see elk but you gotta be quick, They're spooky.  Two families in the Saddle Have that place locked up tight the Maltman's and Osbourne's a remember season when one of the families would pull six legal bulls in the opening weekend.  They have a quarry behind the gate.  Anyways enough of my rambling, you can't go wrong on the coast if you want to see animals however if your going to hunt rifle season get out of the truck because all the other hunters will push them in the thick thick stuff and they are running. Take it easy Knoxy (by the way if you hunt eastern why not go for Pine Creek unit not to hard of a bull tag to draw, Like Murders creek.)  Dang all this talk make me miss my honey holes in Oregon :'(

The Alsea unit would also be worth a look.
