I just kept flooding its tunnels (and the neighbors yard) till I saw it pop out for some air and my size 10 boot smashed his little head into the sidewalk. Even tried to stab it one evening as it was pushing dirt out a new hole.
God Bless,
Scott

awaken from a dead sleep.the house was shaking, all the birds went quiet...There was a stillness in the air,but it wasn't one of calm, but one of fear.Knowing all to well what the problem was,,I grabbed my pointed shovel, all the while the theme from jaws was blaring through out the area.Across the deck on into the haunts of the dreaded vermin I crept,in my foofoo slippers, stealthy slippers but no fashion statement, you know the the kind, the slippers you try to re gift but they are always given back,,,anyway across the slug invested  lawn I went...I knew it had to be a smooth silent stalk, for this was a behemoth of a critter with keen senses and lack of any scruples, likened only to a politician,{yeah that's right, damn scary}.I watch as it surfaced, the land parted, like a scene from some scary picture show, almost biblical..Taking a stance I drew back the shovel and laid waste to him..No easy foe, it took three hard shots about the head and neck to take him down.I called several friends to help me get him hung..

Wow, Rasbo.....that is a monster sized mole.  Good job.

I just noticed two new mole mounds in my back yard this morning when I left for work.  I'm going to have to shoot the little *censored* tomorrow. >:( I just hope he doesn't do any more damage today while I'm away. :bash:
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

You should get a SCI scorer and get that in the books and then a good full body mount to show it off. Thats definetly a trophy mole. Congrats Rasbo

Rasbo, you're a mole-huntin' god!

Since the subject is "Mole Whacking" I have to throw a shout out to my best mole getter.  Her name is Echo, she now has an apprentice.  She just pulled #14 out of my yard tonight.  Here's a pic from about a month ago showing the proud hunter and apprentice with a trophy.  Moles have been large this year...
