My dad got drawn for an idaho moose tag (area 7). We put in for him and he doesnt know it yet..its a fathers day gift.

With this in mind, and times being the way they are, I have been kicking the idea of buying a wolf tag/license. However its about 300 bucks, give or take. While I want to buy one, I have a hard time paying all that money for something I wont eat.
My question is, would other hunters be willing to donate any amount of money to help support this? If so, I might start a small website with a paypal account to help out, with a graph showing the amount taken in, with a cut off once the price is reached. Just a thought!
Think of it this way, you might get a cool huntwa wolf kill story on here! Then again, you might just get a bunch of cool pics. Could be your chance to help level out them wolves! :chuckle:

You need one more option: nope, just can't spare the cash.

So, for me, nope. Not becasause I want to save the wolves but just don't have the cash to donate to others tags.

Sounds like a great idea.  Then we can live vicariously through your hunt......  It would be cool if everyone who donated could be the first ones to read about the trip on the website.

I'd pitch in a few bucks.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

I voted no only because I don't want to donate so I think you need another vote option too.

If you needed some money for food or housing or you were in some other situation like that, I'd throw down for you quick, but I can't justify donating so a guy can go hunting. No offense.

Sorry, but something just struck me when I went back and re-read the original post. So, you don't want to spend the $$ on a tag for you since you aren't going to eat it but am okay with us providing the cash so you can pull the trigger? I'd like to change my vote to a simple no. Doesn't sit right with me. Sorry.

I am putting a wolf hunt together with another member on here. Hopefully we can get the job done and post it up on here. Good luck with your hunt and great job on getting dad a tag.....

I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

I'm pretty sure that's what he's getting at...thus my earlier post.
