The same buck 2 weeks later
« on: June 05, 2011, 09:43:29 PM »
I checked one of my trail cams this evening. Last time I was there was two weeks ago, and that time I got a picture of a buck from May 12th. This time I got a buck, on May 26th, exactly two weeks later. I think it's the same one.

Do you guys think this is the same buck?

Yes for sure! Like big p said, the ear tip on the right side shows that it is the same buck.

Yeah, I think he will probably be good enough too. I'm just not sure how to hunt him. Unless I can start getting pictures on a more consistent basis. Only catching him twice, in over four weeks, doesn't help a whole lot. I'd be much happier if I was getting pictures of him at least every other day. I think I will try to put a couple more cameras out in the same general area and hopefully I can find a trail that he uses more often.

That's what I would do. Try to get more of a pin point idea on his travel areas. I would say he will be decent for sure. I would say a 3 point, now you just have to wait and watch him grow :chuckle:

You can also see the scratch on his Left Hip/thigh in both sets of pics. He is growing nicely!
