I've hit two elk on 410 heading east..... One cow, and a 7x8 bull.... I was pretty said about it so I didn't even take pics... One of the biggest bulls I've seen... The same farmer helped us out both times at 3:30 am and 4:15 am 2 years apart...... Within 100 yds of each other..... I've hit about 15 or so BT just between Old Clifton, Lake Flora, and Sunnyslope Rd in Port Orchard.... All before sunrise on my way to work... It sucks but when they pop out in front of you and stop there... Very hard to stop that quick especially with a trailer.... Almost hit a spike bull pulling into elk camp late night before the opener... Damn near wrecked the trailer.... Only spike I saw all season!!!!

Wow you must drive A LOT, to have hit that many animals! In 27 years of driving I have never hit a deer or an elk. Just lucky I guess. I did hit a dog once though, on my way to going hunting in the morning.

I do.... When you scrap and run construction for a living I spend most my early hours and late afternoons on the road..... Sometimes all day..... Then I work in the shop on coring out the vehicles, sorting scrap, ect until 2-4 am and do it all again.... Hell at 9 pm or so last night I just missed a cougar between Barney White Rd and Airport Auto Wrecking.... Think I actually might have got the tail or rear.... Didn't even try to stop with the load I was carrying... Would've been bad news for sure!! 8 1/2 tons when I took it in this morning..

yes that cow got hit by a car, I went by it about 9am and it was tiped over, the DOT picked it up.

Ok so it got hit. But it was sitting there for awhile we saw it at like 6:00 tugs ridiculous if it sat there for that long. It's sad seeing all these trophies die by cars instead of being hunted and having there full life.

I saw a brute of a buck on the fenceline (headded east), a couple years ago. He was a non-typical standing in the corner of the fence. A wall hanger for sure!

So sunday morning i went up to elk heights to get my trail cam and so we just past easton when low and behold there is a cow elk bedded in the median on I-90. So the first thing i thought was that it got hit but on our way back it was gone did anyone else see it.
Those elk are there almost every day.  They seem to get closer and closer to the highway.  I was headed to work this morning and saw a nice little buck just before the stampede exit.  It was hit by a rig.  but it was sitting on it's but like a human.  Looked to be in a bunch of pain.  I didn't have my pistol otherwise I would have put him down.  Makes a guy kinda sad to see one less buck for the up coming hunting season
Happiness is being in the woods!!!
