Redmond Predator calling!
« on: June 05, 2008, 12:32:31 PM »
So, i thought I had some coons living under my deck...so today i decide to use my "close" predator call...and low and behold...

I got a family of em...they came right up to the door...or at least the adult did....i tried to get them on video, but by that time, they had seen me and the jig was up!

Enjoy~

Nice pics.  I have a few of them near my house, I should try calling them.

I get them on my deck most everynight.  Not sure where they are coming from though.  Probably the woods nearby.
How does one go about calling a Raccoon anyway?

They will come in with several different types of calls (wounded rabbit...mouse, woodpecker, etc). I used a "close" call, for when an animal is nearbye...it just sounds like a mousy wounded animal....light sqeeks, desperate sounds....boy, they came in quick for that. It was great ...gets me stoked for calling on yotes this weekend!

So, I went fishing today on sammamish and called into Marymoore park...had four blackies come in...here is a video of one of em. Sorry for the crappy quality...it is a small digital camera and I was on a kayak... ;)
