Went for a hike tonight and ran into bears
« on: June 23, 2011, 09:52:26 PM »
I went to a place that I like to hike and ran into 3 bears and got pics of two of them. I did notice that the salmon berries are coming in now and these bears were at them.

Its to bad bear hunting isn't that easy all the time to catch them in the road like that.

Very cool that you got a pic.

We were staying up at a cabin outside of town yesterday and my wife hopped in the truck to run up the road to use her cell phone and she saw a young colorphase bear in the road.  It ran up a tree and she couldn't get a pic (she wouldn't get out of the truck, and the bear was on the backside of the tree  :chuckle: ).  She has seen bears with me before, but never that close, and never when she was by herself.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
