I prefer to wrap then dip! Everything gets sticky that way.

Wrapping is not always the way to go, it will add weight to the end and could throw off the balance of your arrows. I would  balance them before adding more weight just to make sure. If they need a little weight in the rear go for it, if not you could see a difference     in flight and tuning. To balance use 10% foc. When finding center include broad heads and the v of the nick for total length. Try lightly sanding the shaft before using the alcohol. Little alcohol on the face of the vanes don't hurt either.
