What's your trigger weight?

2-2.25 custom trigger on rifle.......

rugers standard 5000lb trigger on my pistol  actually its not that bad but there is a long crawl to break on the pistol.....

My guns are set at 2 Ibs.trigger pull.

Mine rifles are set to about 2 lbs.  The rifles my kids shoot are set more like 4 lbs...

I don't know for sure but I would estimate 0.5lbs.  I have to work on it some.  It's not safe at all.  If I work the bolt to load another cartridge and I push too fast, just working the bolt will fire the next round.  Just not safe at all.

Remington stock triggers on my .270 and my 7mm Mag, 2.5 lbs, I have a buddy that likes to work on Remingtons, so I have him adjust my triggers. 

My .300 Weatherby trigger is still set stock because 1.  I don't know how to adjust it 2.  I don't shoot it that much.

thats interesting because of how simple that trigger is. I myself have turned the screw out until there was really no spring pressure and i don't think i got much for misfires. Maybe too much oil on the sear?

Just a Heads up on you guys that have Browning A Bolt rifles - About 6 years ago 3 weeks before Elk season I was up at the Range shooting and my Trigger BROKE flush with the STOCK ! Come to find out it is a CAST TRIGGER !!! Browning sent me one in a hurry - took about 4 days  - There was a Gunsmith in Idaho making Steel ones and I was going to buy one but I lost his address - If anyone knows who sells them please let me know ! it would be a real bitch if you were squeezing the trigger on a big bull and have it break on you !

not the one with the accutrigger.  I had to buy a Rifle Basix.  When I tuned it, I set it too tight and the thread locker has the allen screws in permanent.  All I need to do is file the sear a bit to get the trigger post to slide into in a bit more.  Talking fraction of millimeters here.  I don't mind it and can compensate but, my kids use this rifle too so, it needs to get fixed.  Probably work on it this weekend.

yeah stevens dont come with the accutriger. i wouldnt say the stock trigger is "adjustable" per say but it is tweakable.

how do you like that rifle basix trigger?

All are between 2.5 and 3.5 except for my brothers 7mm-08 its probably around 5.
