No but seriously tho'... thanks fer all yer help. Those set-ups were a blast and wifey and me found a spot that we can't wait to get back to. Maybe not the monsters I've seen posted on this board but. These are our very first trout ever. They attacked everything we threw at them. What a good time!

Way to go Glen, glad you got out and had some fun.

Nice, it looks like you guys had a good time! I'm very glad to hear it!
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

I didn't fight my way to the top of the food chain to be a vegetarian

I saw a woman wearing a sweat shirt with "Guess" on it...so I said "Implants?"

So. I know y'all will find this hard to fathom but. Me and the gal went back over the hill back to this spot just because... well... you know - if you think a spot may be fun and productive, it's really hard to sit around and think about it. Here are the results:

What started as a desire to bank fish some of the lakes in Okanagan co, ended up being creek fishing instead. It's nice to have found a little hotspot to get into and find fish! Now to learn more about these trout and see how they do in the lake that feeds this creek as the summer continues.

Thanks again everyone for the help, encouragement and good vibes. :)

Yeah, I've been reading that thread and it sounds like a blast. I guess I'm not sure about what gear to use from the bank. I've also read somewhere that a different license is needed for some spots. Guess I need to get over to that thread and ask... :chuckle:

I was actually eyeballin' Rufus from maps and saw that it's not too too far off our regular travel route. Might could happen... Thanks for re reminding me on that one!
