Drew 1 of 2 Quality archery tags for the Nooksack this year with 3 points, yes that is only 3 points for you Tenino guys starting rumors that I was turning in poachers and had "poacher" points , and If you dont beleive me come to my house and I will show you my draw results online that show the "points used" and it states 3 , just pure luck of the draw is all it was and I am most humbled by the opportunity to spend time in that unit hunting some nice bulls. Now its time to get seriouse  and have been spending alot more time hiking with my pack and a bag of 40 pound pellets inside. Mountain biked 10 miles today looking for critters . I am looking forward to this hunt as I feel this is more of an oil hunt than just another elk tag for me. Absolutely stoaked at the opportunity. Thanks to the people that have offered to help, it is more than appreciated  , its not to often a guy in washington gets an opportunity to hunt 2 quality bull tags in 3 yeras  let alone 1. Nevertheless, this is just another chapter in Bucklucky's Hunting adventures as I set out to try and notch my tag on a fine bull in september!

Congrats Chaz!! Must be sumpthin in the water out there. I've never seen guys accuse others of bustin locks, then turn around a week later ,and retrive their animals with quad in the same said area??? Jealousy is a b%tch, I got faith in ya brother, you'll do that tag justice. You still make me sick though... grin.....

Congrats again Charlie! It's going to be one hell of a hunt, and it's awesome there are some great guys on here to locate the big boys for you!  Can't wait until September to read the story and see some pictures!

Ya I have no idea who started it but sounds like it got around to the whole fricken town that Im a nark and turning people in for poacher points  :chuckle: Its no different than a freind of mine  shooting a dandy bull and then having some guy accusing him of killing it on the mine , which absolutely wasnt the case. That kind of crap is just dumb and inconsiderate of others.

Thanks Alan, Im really looking forward to it!!

Don't know anything about the drama down there, and I'm really not trying to get this thread off topic, but if a guy is in the wrong and gets turned in, good!  People should give guys who turn in poachers a pat on the back.  :dunno:

You already the best guide for that unit. BH45 knows the elk better than anyone out there. Good luck and congrats.

Charlie, don't pay any attention to those local punks, they are jealous and not worth your time worrying about it.  By the way, my friend's wife drew her Nutsack rifle bull tag on her first try.  It must be rigged!
