i have some pictures of some HUGE WOLVES yhat were killed with Idaho wolf tags that i would like to send to you so you can post they were sent to my blackberry and i can't figure out how to post them

Were the tracks close to human settlement or areas of possible dog activity, or were these tracks up high in the mountains away from places dogs might frequent?

 We didn't actually see the wolf but we spotted these tracks heading in for Brads Raffle Bull last month in the Blues. Packing out of the canyon there were fresh tracks over the top of our boot prints in the snow.

The tracks were over 18 miles from where you can drive to. They were in the GLacier Peak wilderness. No other humans in the area at the time. No human tracks in the snow.

I live in 124 south of Newport right on the Idaho line.  I saw my first wolf about 3 years ago.  I found tracks within a 100 yards of my barn, see tracks hunting, shed hunting and out walking.  I hear them howling at times also.  Yes they are here!  I talked to a WDFW warden about a dog problem here and the subject led to wolves.  He assured me I was seeing and hearing hybrids!  I had livestock at the time so I said there should be no problem shooting the hybrids if they are on my place.  His advice was not to do that because it might be a wolf.  Figure that one out!  Preadators are not controlled in Washington very well.  Unless man is the top predator herds cannot be managed.  Man can choose what to harvest.  Wolves, cats, bears and coyotes don't!

My dad and I went snowmobiling out to our cabin in the North Fork Teanaway (GMU 335) and on the main road at about Indian Creek there were two different wolf tracks that came out onto the county road, walked right down the center and then went back up at about Middle Creek. We were the first ones up in the fresh snow and it was snowing hard, so we just missed them. One was bleeding from its paw or leg because every 4 or 5 steps there were some spots of blood in the road. Don't know if this helps or not? Thought i'd post it so everyone knows-
