So anyone herd about the pack up at Baker Lake?

States a little behind on recognizing the pack huh.🤔

Pretty sure the state has recognized the presence since around 05. 

The previous pack was hozomeen and up by Ross lake. This pack is different. I think that pack is still there but dens in Canada.

You have confirmation on a pack?

I don't. WDFW has recognized Skagit as pack on its Wolf Observation page.

Loggers have known about wolves up Jackman Creek for a LOOoong time.. Jackman is just east of the Baker lake damn on 20.

That is because it is a USFWS collar pn the wolf not a WDFW omw. As I remember the area is N of Darrington South of the Skagit, perhaps east some on USFS land.

I like the red dots in the waters of Puget Sound, they must be sea wolf’s. 🤣

Black one running west just west of Concrete this morning by the high hill to the north, I never seen something run so fast to getaway from a car, tried climbing the bank but couldn’t do it.

Wish he would have come out into the road, that would have been a squished 🐺🤣.

Little to dark at 4am to see a collar, plus the collar is probably black as well.

Talked to my neighbor today, his friend saw four in Hearn’s field just west of my siting last Sunday.

I don't understand why the Skagit pack shows up on one map but not the other?    t looks like the same map except no Skagit pack?    Thanks,

No real big surprise but I cut these tracks up the mill creek drainage a couple days ago. This was the biggest one but looked like maybe 3 or 4 together.

Had a hunter tell me that he watched WDFW drop a pair of them on the south climb of Mt Adams scouting this fall and when he asked what they were doing they said nothing..... not sure how valid this is but if they are behind the back covert dropping to hide the agenda.....

You're not the first to have 2nd, 3rd or 5th hand reports of this activity.   Too bad we don't have something more concrete.

he said they told him that he "see's nothing". i would have been recording the whole act!
