I'm starting to understand the attitude towards newbies coming in on their first post asking for the proverbial "tied up bull". It does take some major cahones to ask where to find a big bull and then act all hurt when people don't give GPS coordinates. Interesting perspective.

Ha, Ha!  Do any of you regulars know which areas in 560 produces the larger bulls?  There are nearly 3000 rifle hunters in 560, so it's not like a big secret?  If this Forum makes fun at the new guys expense, I guess I'll look elsewhere.  CC.

Go scout man, do the leg work . Your right its no big secret but thats what your asking for is the peoples secret spots that hold monster bulls. Use your maps and figure it out!!

Other than, if you want to shoot a big bull, dont shoot a small one.
 
The Elk are going to be spread all over unit, not like they all hang around the same cows, and live in the same drainage.....

Lewis river 560 is a big unit, there are good numbers of Elk throughout the whole unit. It will be good in any part of the unit. Pick an area and spend some time there, and if you are much of a hunter you should find Elk.

How much money do you have or want to spend? I've been hunting this area for 30 years, could use some cash!!

You will find one big bull in the back of my truck around noon on opening day of archery, if that helps any.

Don't overlook the beautifull wilderness areas in 560, they are worth your effort.
