410+ 6x6 bull taken in AZ
« on: July 24, 2011, 09:53:40 PM »
One the other boards that I lurk on just had a post with pics of a 410+ bull still in velvet taken in AZ.   The guy has his hand wrapped around one of the antlers above the G3 and his fingers are 2-3" from touching.

From the sounds of things he's the AZ equivalent of Agnew.  Guess he paid big bucks for the commissioner's tag.

That is a hell of a nice bull!
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

most, and I'd say probably 99.999999% of other paid guides don't block off public roads on public ground, bully and threaten people off of public ground around where the target animal is, and use helicopters to steer the target animal towards the hunter.

hell of a bull thats for sure, i still dont understand why anyone in their right mind would want to shoot a bull of that caliber while he is still in velvet, if i read it correctly the guy had a whole year to whack a bull, so why wait till the animal is a few short weeks from being velvet free and in 90 degree plus heat to take a hell of an animal, i dont get it  :dunno:

His name is Allen Hamberlin, He's a homebuilder down in AZ. That mule deer scored 322 off the strip a few years back. Go to www.azstriphunting.com you can see for yourself that monster buck.

Must be nice to kill a deer bigger then most peoples elk . I don't understand killing a bull in July.  :dunno: Was he even done growing. They were saying he was not as big as last year. Let him finish growing before you kill him.
