Need help with a good dillema to have

   So I recently found out that I won a new bow from our local pro shop. I need help deciding between Mathews, Bowtech or Alpine. I shoot a hoyt period. Not gonna change end of story. This bow will be possibly backup/spare. But will primarily be for friends or family who may want a good quality bow to borrow, or to shoot.  I have been a mathews shooter in the past, (pre drenalin days. Good bows, they just didnt shoot for me ), and was looking for feedback on the z series bows. I am also impressed with BT performance but have heard horror stories about thier blowups pun intended. However its still an option. Know nothing about alpine. Also if I am not getting sifficient use out of the bow what are opinions on the easiest one to move?

i know allot of people shooting the crap outta z7's and love them, my wife has a passion which is real similar to a z7 and loves it( hell I get in trouble if i touch it unless i and waxing her string for her)

That z-7 sure shoots nice, might be a good choise. You lucky dog

Go with a different "type" of bow than what you already have. For example if you don't have a "speed bow" get one or get a bow to set-up for 3d.

i would go with what ever sells for the most and sell it and buy your self a new crx 32, or a carbon element but thats just my opinion. i shoot hoyt as well and only hoyt so more power to you!!

I currently shoot a Maxxis 35,  and Love it! The CRX is so close in specs, and the Matrix plus is out of my budget for this year. even with an added boost to the bow fund. Besides I wanna see what comes out in 2012.  I'm leaning toward the Z7 its getting a ton of good reviews, and positive feedback. Its definitley smooth and quiet!  But I havent shot any of the new Bowtechs.

I have a Z7 and love it.  The only thing I've done on it is to replace the string with a Winner's Choice.  I did keep the original, with a little wear on it, as a backup for when I travel.

Personally, I would get the bow, sell it and buy something you need.  However, if you're going to keep it as a backup or for new shooters, you might consider the Z7 because it's extremely smooth, easy to pull and pretty forgiving.  Also absolutely no handshock and very, very quiet.  (My dad was shooting his about 10 yards from me on Saturday and I could hear his arrows fly - Quickspin fletching - but couldn't hear the bow go off.)  Might be a good bow for someone not feeling real sure of themselves when they shoot for the first time.
