I agree with supporting the Ford motor company for giving Obama the finger, but realise that allot of the Toyotas are built right here in the USA by American worker as well.  I see a use for both I love Toyotas for their off road capabilities, and their dependability.  Fords on the other hand win hands down in the workhorse category.

All depends.  Small trucks, toyota hands down.  Full sized gas, doesn't really matter in my opinion, I go chevy just because I am a chevy guy, but I will take whatever is the best deal.  For diesel, cummins  8)

Ford.  Made in America and the money stays in America.  Great trucks too.

I have not found a TOYOTA that I can fit in and drive comfortably.  But my 94 F150 with 190,000 miles still gets it done.
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

man this is the 21st century and i am sorry but toyota was the only major truck manufature to take 0 gov aid! they still pay all there workers here in TN and KY outta there own pockets not our tax dollars, i am all about keeping american money in america but seeing how ford did not accept a bail out, but did recieve major tax breaks which un like GM's bail out they do not have to repay. i see more american jobs and money getting redispersed through toyota then the big 3. either way ford cannot compete with the quality that toyota produces, my heartbeat is chevy but i have had 3 yota's, my brother has had 2 and my dad is on his 5th. i am the only one who has ever been stranded by one and i took a gulp of water down the intake of mine before she crooked. as for towing toyota is the only major truck manufature instread of putting whatever numbers they can town in perfect conditions, put real world numbers done through a new staderdized testing system that monitors passing speed, trans temps over hills, sustained braking ability and 60-0 times all manufactures will have to use this system by 2013(honestly its about time anyone who has ever had 18000# behind a 1ton knows that 22000# is a death wish). if comparing apples to apples the f150 has been spanked time and time agian in all catagories but price by the tundra. toyota is toying with making a 1 ton version of the tundra powered by an 8.1L turbo diesel hino motor which might put the final nail in the powerstroke coffin because lets face it even die hard ford guys agree the last good powerstroke was the 7.3L. if you looking for an economy car have some self respect! get a jetta TDI. 50MPG without saying you have a hybrid! getting of the soap box i will enjoy the responses!

D: None of the above.

I second!  But if it was walk home 1000 miles away or pick one of the above?  I'd take the Ford.

pre 2005 Toyota's hands down no questions asked, run forever and never leave you broken down. Fords have been in my family since the 60's and are no contest to the longevity of Toyota.

Toyota hands down. I have owned all of the big three in the past and hated the repair bills. Now we have four Toyotas under our belt since 2004 and the only time they have spent in the shop is for an oil change. My 07 Tundra has plenty of power and right where it needs it. Both Chevy and Ford had to go to a bigger motor just to make a little more power than Toyota's 5.7 345ci motor. Maybe a little tune and I am willing to bet Toyota would be producing the same numbers, but when it already works and works good why change it.

Also for those folks who think the big three make their vehicles here in America you might want to check again. Maybe some of them are made here, but I am willing to bet a lot more are made north and south of us. All the parts of my truck might not have been built here, but it sure as heck was assembled by American blood and sweat.
