Bleached white antlers?

My uncle has a 50+ year old set of elk antler that my great grandfather shot and they are white from the sun and life.  I was wondering if anyone can recolor them back to what they should look like and what would it cost?  Thanks

I just got done recoloring a set what are they rockies or rosies? That is what they looked like before and after.

They are rockies from Colorado and when I say they are white, your before pictures are way darker than these.  Does that matter?  What do you charge?  The antlers are in Chehalis.

it does not matter about the white. Do they have a bunch of superficial cracks in them?

As for charging, come up one day shoot the crap some and I will show you how, you help you walk away and learn. You don't help you walk away 50.00 poorer.

i got a spike buck i shot like ten years ago that was in velvet. first dear with a bow so i kept them. i got all the velvet off a long time ago but i want to color them so they look normal, there kinda white. i didn't realize they could be colored till i seen a few post on here. i'm in elks plain area so real close and would love to have the opportunity to learn. i have an extreme thirst for knowledge!

ACtually it makes a big differance whether they are hard white completely bleached or have the dark on the horn ike you slapped color onto . There is a process that gets followed when coloring antlers to make them look realistic . If the antlers are to white they need to be toned down first with a off white base color and then you start with the darks and work your way up. Its can be  time consuming process when done right. But what do I know, Ive only colored up 30 sets of elk antlers in my time.

Im having to dig through pictures to find the re colors. Here are a few pics if you want to show your uncle. These are all Rockey's so they dont have the orange tint to the antlers. And these were not hard white to start with, but give you an idea of the finished product. There are alot of factors that can come into coloring a set of antlers , cracking, chalking, etc. That may need addressed. I have done elk antlers where I have even reconstructed a mainbeam that was broke off that the sword.

THANK YOU CHARLIE for that info.  Would you like to add anything else in there maybe a tutorial? That would greatly help us along when we are having some ice cold ginger ales? Or better yet I will let you know when we set a date and you can come over and show us. FYI instead of using an offwhite, I would use more of a cream color, the darks will blend a lot more fluent, I learned that this year from Rick.
