PONCHO

I was thinking since money is tight this year I might just get myself a decent poncho. they pack light and offer decent protection. Anybody know a decent/durable poncho out on the market. I know they are "noisy" but so are the woods when it rains! :chuckle: :chuckle:

check out frogg toggs. I'm not sure if they make Poncho's but there rain gear is pretty good and cheap. Used to be able to find them at Walmart but I haven't seen them there for a while.

check out frogg toggs. I'm not sure if they make Poncho's but there rain gear is pretty good and cheap. Used to be able to find them at Walmart but I haven't seen them there for a while.

I see on Cabela's that the Frogg Toggs have horrible reviews. :dunno: Do you use them?

Check out the Marmot Precip jacket and pants on www.sierratradingpost.com, then search around for a coupon and you'll find you can get the whole set-up fairly cheap.

Both me and my dad have been using them for the past few years. Never had any problems with them yet  :twocents:
