Take them or Flush them?

I took this picture in the backyard this morning so I could follow up with the "would you shoot a bird on the ground" post from last week.  So my question is...would you take these birds on the water or would you flush them and take them one at a time out of the air?  Just looking for who has what kind of ethics so I know who or who not I would ask to go hunting with from this group.

call me strange but the part I bolded just doesnt come off as all in fun 

they are ducks so usually you dont flush them you call them in and take them as they land....but I wouldnt take any shot either way I really dont like duck...

I'd blast the crap outta them were they are with my first shot, then unload the next 8 shells from my semi auto as they try and take flight (whats the limit anyway?). Be home and smokin duck breasts when other guys are still settin up there dekes...
Man i guess that corn i have been tossing out there is workin, i was gettin worried i might have to actually freeze my butt off in a cold marsh blowing a duck call and waitin for them to come to me..

Well I have this theory........The State will not let you shoot big bulls without permit because they want to have some left for breeding. Now a big bull gets big because he is smart. (enough to get thru several hunting seasons.) So we are trying to keep the smart ones. Now apply that to ducks. Which is the smarter duck the one that fly over and says"Nope I am not landing in those stupid decoys" or the the ones that come on in.   Since the ones on the water are the stupid ones I say TAKE EM!!!!!!!!

If in season and with a tag in my pocket, good range.... I would sit and watch them and enjoy the hell out of it.  Once they decided to leave, I would harvest one of them.  Shooting a duck on the water is low odds, since most of the birds vitals are underwater. We reserve surface shots for kill shots on wounded birds...

with the economy the way it is,all I see is jerky..one round, four ducks..I'm an opportunist..besides that's a good stalk.If I wanted to be a real sportsman I would use a bow instead of 50 pellets

The ones that don't flush are either plastic or smart and will swimm away. I've never yet come upon a pond of sitting ducks like that without at least arousing some suspicion before I get within range. The times I am able to creep within range, they usually swimm off out of it again. Every now and then tho' I have gotten close enough to jump up and flush 'em. But those times, the numbers are fewer - there were less eyes and ears to bust me.

I love calling in ducks and watching them decoy into the pocket or land them in the zone you have created.  I don't mind jump shooting when ducks aren't flying, I have had some of my best memories walking along creeks falling into beaver, nutria holes and swimming for guns that have gone under.  Watching my dog flush up pairs and picking out drakes as I walk the creek bottoms. 
If I had a big group I would flush them and pick out a drake or two.  If it's a large group I leave them alone, so you don't educate them.  Same with geese, don't do it if it's a large group, because they won't come back.
