People on Cams

Well my guess is he was he was deer hunting since the day he did this was the last day of deer season on the East Side. Probably just chose not to wear hunter orange. He didn't actually wave at this camera he didn't even directly look at it plus the one that too this picture was a little more concealed.

Dang, still no glory for me.  I was going to moon the cam but then decided not to in case it happened to be a female hunter or a kid.  Shooting the lock and taking the card didn't come to mind, I would turn him in the second I figured out who it was.  Hopefully you took some cell phone pictures of the damage for evidence.  There are probably finger prints on it as well.

Another thing you can do is show the pic to the game warden for that area to see if he happens to know the guy.  Many times the less than stellar characters are well known.

I was going to say, show it to WDFW enforcement. I wonder if they would/could cite him for no orange?

Not sure it could be proven that he is the person who destroyed your camera.

Not for sure but the cam he destroyed had internal memory in it and when the card was pulled the pictures started being saved to the external memory which I was able to access. It took a picture of his arm and it was the same design and was within a short time of the one where he showed up on cam so it doesn't take much to put 2 & 2 together.

All I am saying is bringing a bunch of speculation to the table that erodes our rights further by mudding what is an obvious case of cam destruction. Just seems dumb and self destroying to bring a bunch of other guns and hunters are bad type of conjecture.

Sticking to what is known makes way more sense but what do I know.

If this is, in fact, the puke that destroyed his camera then I have no problem throwing him under the bus and not wanting him to be seen as your normal hunter. I understand where you are coming from but if he is caught as the camera destroyer, I would love to see him hit with as many other fines as possible.

That's cool but raising topics like legality of carrying a rifle in the woods is asking to have more rights stripped. Questioning one guy in the woods with a rifle opens the door to question all. Whereas the destroyed cam is an actual thing.

It's like trespass if you catch a person trespassing the why of it is just a way to muddy an obvious offense. 

Theft another one that gets muddied with the whole drug issue and instead of dealing with the theft you get told it's all because of drugs. And don't think the people on the wrong side don't know and use the muddy waters to continue.
