New Knight Bighorn availability?

Does anyone know any stores that have the new Knight Bighorn in stock in the greater Seattle area.  I'm looking for the stainless steel version with the thumbhole stock.  If not, anyone know if I can purchase direct from Knight?  Looking at their website it appears I can.

Think wholesale sports in Federal Way has/had one a couple weeks ago, you might try some of their other stores if they dont have one. They said you can order on line from them as well. Seems if I remember right it was around 425.00

I called Wholesale Sports in Federal Way tonight and they didn't have any.  Outdoor Emporium in Seattle said they didn't have them and when I called Sportsmen's Warehouse in Puyallup they said they were trying to get some.

just talk to my friend at the Lacey Wholesale sports store and he checked and found out that Silverdale,Burlington and Vancouver stores have atleast 4 on hand each. He said you could call them up, order and have it sent to your front door

I'm probably gonna leave work early tomorrow and drive up to Burlington and pick one up.  Some people may think I'm nuts but I've got my current Bighorn dialed in for deer hunting in Eastern WA.  I'm picking up a 2nd one for elk season having it set up for a bigger bullet.  Since I'm going on my first ever guided elk hunt this year I also really like the idea of having a backup gun incase something goes wrong with one.  The funny thing is I'm alredy starting to get withdrawls from archery elk season for this year.

If it's "nuts" then I'm crazy too..but I don't think so. I hunt here under Wa. rules with one for elk and I hunt out of state with the other(Ohio,KY,Tenn.,NC) for deer. Scope,bullet,powder,ignition all diffrent then my Wa. gun.

Question???  Have you looked at a Knight DISC Extreme with a Western Kit installed?  With the kit installed you have a Washington legal ml...

Just my opinion but I think you get some advantages with the Extreme that the Big Horn does not give you.

I have thought about that Sabotloader.  What edged me closer to sticking with another Big Horn is standardization for me.  Having both muzzleloaders the same simplifies things for me in the heat of the moment.  It's probably not a big deal but I like the idea of having that muscle memory of loading both the same, safeties the same, etc.  I have really enjoyed your posts on the Disc Extreme.

Ok, I took the afternoon off and my buddy and I drove over to Silverdale, it was an adventure.  We also stopped at Sportco on the way back.  I picked up a new Knight Bighorn and I am impressed with the finish and accessories.  I'll have to post up photos later but I really like the finish of the stock.

Other than cosmetic the only differences in this Knight from my old one seems to be the fact that my original Knight also came with a 209 breech plug and the new Bighorn does not.  The original breech plug wrench was just a cast piece of steel that will corrode/rust and the new one looks to be possibly nickel or brushed steel.  There also is a plastic capper in the box that I don't remember the original coming with.  And to top it all off there was a nifty new Knight sticker that my buddy was envious of.     I told him I'd sell the sticker to him for $100 but he soon lost interest.

I'll be shooting it in the morning and I'll provide another report as to how the fancy coating they advertise is supposed to make these new Knights even easier to clean.
