Drew back the mathews put the 20 pin on him, then cried as I slowly rode the arrow forward remembering I told myself I would only take a doe this year to improve the kids odds of dropping one of the resident bucks. The next doe came out at 0700 and caught a arrow after making me sit at full draw for five minutes for a shot on her.I'll post a pick after I transfer it from the phone.

Wow, that's some self control there.  Those kids are pretty lucky.  Hopefully they'll get a crack at that big boy.

Passed on a 115-120 blacktail yesterday morning.  Man was that a tough one to let go as I do not have a p&Y mounted in velvet yet.  But, that darned Late Chiwawa permit in my pocket was screaming too loud.  I made a goal of 130 BT or late Chiwawa.  Hope that wasn't too big a mistake. Guess I won't find out until Dec 9th.

WOW Have to commend you on that one 

good ole dad. never sises to amaze me on how pops would rather let a trophy go to try to find me to take the shot then take it himself, even when i try to tell him i have many more good years of hunting and his is running out. its moments like this that show how much love you have for your family. i hope that when i have children i too can be just as good a dad as my dad was to me and seems your are to your kids. i commend you as well.
