Almost there!!!
« on: September 18, 2011, 05:34:11 PM »
I have 8lbs of beef sticks smoking as we speak, grinding the breakfast sausage and have the pot of spaghetti sauce on the stove.  I should be ready and heading to camp in 3 days.

Gonna load up my camper on thursday and load my horse in the trailer on friday early morning and then heading for deer camp. I am excited to just get out in the hills for a week. Then home for a day to do laundry and re-stock up on food, say hi to my wife and son before leaving for elk camp for a week. Then If I have not filled my deer tag I am headed back to the blues for modern deer for about 4 or 5 days. Then I better come home for a while before my wife finds a new husband, haha

We will be camped in the north fork of Lick Creek down low. Our camp will have the living quarters horse trailer, truck camper and a wall tent with 3 ford trucks, blue, red and gold in color. Feel free to stop by if we are "home" and get a cold drink.

This will be my daughter's first hunt ever.  I am so excited to take her out for her first bulll that I can hardly stand it.  Got up early this morning to do some fine tuning on her muzzleloader and heard a distant bull bugle.   Got one other decent bull located.   Good luck to all!
