2 weeks until I pull out of town now and this is getting difficult.  To make it worse is this seems to be the time of year when there is a bit of a lull in people posting hunting stories and pics.  So everytime I check in I find myself looking through posts and pics I have already scoured.

Now I just sit here, in my own thoughts, at work, calendar watching.  2 weeks, how the heck am I expected to do that?

Buy more hunting goodies, that's how!

I leave tomorrow for 20 days out of state.
I remember what 2 weeks ago felt like. Couldn't get here soon enough.  The calendar watching is painful!

Cabela's bill for last Saturday was $1100    Had to outfit the girlfriend and my brother who will both be coming to elk camp for a bit this year.  Had a blast, and actually put a few things back on the shelf.  Was unsupervised for a bit

That's all part of the experience! this year he's going nuts! next year he'll be looking back and wishing he was ding it again!  Trust me

So, I'm just curious.
What does his 287 post count have to do with it?
Maybe he has a year and half more reading time logged than you do, if you want to consider the member since aspect.

I have been around for quite a bit, I just don't yap as much as some    Only kidding....

Over the years I have hunted primarily in Idaho with family.  But, this winter I am picking up a bow with my brother and beginning our quest to archery elk hunt Washington next year, so that post count will grow as I reach out to the archery guys to help guide us. 

I have always wanted to hunt Washington, but it has been tough since rifle season overlaps with that of Idaho.  But I am very excited to learn about archery and start getting prepared....
