I spotted him on the move and he was in a hurry.  I figured about where he was going to cross and tried to cut him off.   He ran into another dominant ram and a ewe and that stallled him for a bit, but he continued.  LIGHTING sucked so I got to a spot where I wasn't staring into the sun.  I got a few shots.  He kept on his course.  He was angling for the river so I tried to catch him there.   I got lucky.   He came down, hit the tracks and then came to water right across from me.  LOVED IT!   He stayed for a minute then a boat came through and he moved up the hill.   My trip got waylayed so I was glad to pick up some shots local.

Really like the one of him drinking, that would look good in one of my wife's rustic frames. Right now we have a 36 x 40 print of some sheep by N. Glazier from Winthrop, can't recall the name of the place, it's been a few years but it's on Main St.

Awesome photo's Doug, just awesome.  The water dripping picture is just unreal.   Really makes me sick that I don't have better equipment to take better photo's.  Especially on my before pics of my Dad's Moose.  One day we will have to talk about how I can remedy that.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.
