That buck is a stud. Definitely a big mature body on him. I'd love to see how big that neck gets in November.

Interesting you say that. I was debating in my head if he was at his max or not. I was eyeballing his chest. Its starting to sink, he looks as if he has his frame with good mass. He is very clean. That would tend to lean towards younger still. He might be about max at frame and tine length, he would certainly get more mass and more trash. Curious. He is very picturesque

Nice buck. I'm headed up there next weekend to set up my stands and cameras in the Sherman unit for the late archery season. Hope you stick that one. he's a beaut. If i could offer some advise......I'd reposition your camera so it's not pointed to the south, SE or SW into the direct sunlight. There doesn't look like a lot of trees so this may not be possible. You'll find that your pic's turn out a lot better.
Again, nice buck. Good luck with him.

If I had that buck in range, bow or rifle, I would not give him a minute longer to live. With the wolves and lions up in the NE corner, there is a decent chance he will not make it to next season. JMHO

That is a beautiful specimen of the Northwest subspecies. Good luck this season.
