i am not 100% sure on this but i know if you have a mf deer tag you can hunt with a bow but can i bring both my bow and rifle into the woods with me? looked in the regs but wasnt very clear.

Cause i plan to hunt the timber as well as clear cut. if i only have my bow and see a deer outside of bow range i wouldnt want to miss a chance to put something on the ground

I'm not an LEO or total expert on the reg book, but as long as it is modern rifle season it does not matter what you have with you. Except, of course, in firearm restricted areas where it could be other than a high power rifle.
