Big Whidbey Island Black Tail
« on: October 24, 2011, 03:55:32 PM »
This Guy is on my buddies property, he told me i have fair game of him if i see him.... ... boy i sure hope i see him ...time to put in alot more work then i hoped i would have to do....But i call Him Notches... What you cant see is the funny looking eye guards he has.... I have photos of him from a regular camera when hes in full velvet, and my buddy has a few pics of him hard horned.... this is 1 of 3 photos i have of him on my trail cam... but this is the best one the others he has his head down and his horns are blurry, but one of them you can tell hes rutting because his neck is big.... Hope my arrow fly straight when he comes into sight..... hes only 27 yards right there from my tree stand ...and hes standing broad side to my stand in this pic.....Biggest BT i have ever seen.....

That is a stud for sure!
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Good luck putting an arrow into that guy!
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Do you have night vision built into that stand?  Or, be sure to take the flashlight off the bow for photos....   :chuckle:

It looks like he is about as nocturnel as most seem to be right now.  Nice buck though!
