Should I have notched the tag on this boy.   I'm thinking I should have.

:yeah:  I sure wouldn't have to think about it but from your other photos you(not me ever) will get more chances.

Nice pic btw.

Nice picture Bone! He's got great backs. Definitely a shooter up there just because of the lack of elk a guy sees because of how thick it is up there. There are some bigger bulls in that NE corner but that's a good looking P&Y bull.

I would have had a hard time letting him walk. I saw one fairly close to that this weekend and wished I had a bull tag

Having to ask shows me you are way too spoiled seeing (and photographing) all of those big deer.   :chuckle:  I'd shoot that one first day on a guided hunt!!  Love those long backscratchers.

When he ran away he got his antlers caught in a tree. :chuckle:  I though I was going to have a dead elk without firing a shot.  It about broke his neck. :chuckle:   Poor *censored*.   I hope none of the girls seen him.

Need breeding stock so you can get more images of elk.  Myself, I would take the younger one...I love elk steaks.  Great photos.  Please keep them coming.

Personally, I would've drilled him as I haven't tagged out anything larger than a 4 point.  He's a dandy though.

Again.... great pics Bone!
