gmu 568
« on: November 04, 2011, 07:13:43 PM »
I'm thinking about elk hunting in the upcoming muzzy season in gmu 568. If anyone could point me in the right direction on where to scout that would be great, and I'm kind of curious if anyone has had any success in the last few years. Thank you for reading this post!

2010 Harvest report says only 23 elk total were taken out of that unit...

had a nice 6x6 taken 1/2 mile from my house durring MF, there are elk but unless you know the herd  they  may be difficult to find. I would suggest 3 corner rock area north of beacon rock or above north of stevenson..

a buddy of mine got this bull a few years ago...

We found a few in the yacolt burn area and a few aroundSkamania mines rtd.
Loggers workin the 1500 line reported seeing nothing for 3 weeks over by 3 corner rock.
It's not true that I am good for nothing---I can be used as a bad example!!
