I've hunted Montana 4 times,  this was the worst hunt I've ever had.   May have been the worst overall, out of state hunt I've ever been on as far as numbers of bucks (and deer in general).   For Montana, an opportunity state that allows rifle hunting during the rut, it was pretty bad.

Here is another buck we killed in Colorado in November.   A "last 20 minute" of the hunt 170 type buck.   Kind of a let down after messing up on a couple 190" class deer.  If only I had a tag.... :chuckle:
