Why paint just the stock?  :dunno:

I just didnt care for the rifle the way it was, I painted it trying to add some feeling, it worked and now it's one of my favorite toys.
I dont know if that makes any sense to anyone but paint added some character

I've used my Browning A bolt in 270 Winchester and a 12 gauge semi-auto turkey shotgun w/24 inch barrel in the past. But this year my main predator gun is going to be a Remington 722 in .222 Remington with 40 grain Hornady V Max bullets.

But I use the Rem 870 the most since I hunt a lot in a firearms restricted unit and always in heavy cover.
