Late Muzzy Doe
« on: December 10, 2011, 03:39:05 PM »
Well, not much to the story.  Got settled into my tree stand shortly after first light.  Couple hours later had a doe and fawn come in, passed on her.  While they were milling around a second doe came by but never presented a shot.  Somehow she managed to always be either behind a bush, behind the doe or fawn, or in front of the fawn.  About an hour after they moved on, this little girl decided to come out.  She isn't the biggest doe in the woods, but not he smallest either.

Sounds like an interesting hunt to me, watching the deer for a while and still getting a shot!

When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.
