This morning I went for a little hunt before my in-laws showed for a lovely family X-MAS gathering  :puke:.  I didn't see any deer on the hunt but I did come across this

looks like the rack is in really good shape???  Like it was this years dear, but the skull is clean???  I'm so confused, was the rest of the carcass there? 

Anyhow, really cool find and heck of a nice deer. :tup:

So what do you guys think is this a young deer with good genes or an old deer on his way down.  Its one of the biggest 2pts I've ever seen.

Looks like an old deer.  Not necessarily on its way down... could be in its prime with bad genetics.  :dunno:
