Found a Wild One!
« on: December 29, 2011, 05:08:57 PM »
Went out to look for some roosters and maybe some ducks to jump shoot this morning. Ended up seeing 5 wild roosters and 3 mallards, but only one rooster was brave enough to hold tight. He jumped about 10 yards in front of and I was able to make the chip shot. The rest of the birds were jumping a solid 60-70 yards out so I was 1 for 1 on the day. Not bad for late in the season with no dog! Thanks for lookin'!

Your me many years ago.

Congrats. A wild pheasant is a trophy bird. Enjoy eating him with people you care about to round out the experience.

Good job. Beautiful dog!
