Cougar down in Southern Idaho with Bearpaw (pics updated)
« on: January 04, 2012, 07:54:40 PM »
Well I got to spend my new years week in southern Idaho with two of Bearpaws guides (Brian and Anthony)
We put in a hard long 7 days of hunting in terrible conditions (no fresh snow)
Today we cut a Tom track that looked like it might be workable. The cat ended up on dry ground and it took almost all day but finally the dogs treed this beautiful Tom!
This was a dream hunt for me and I cant say enough about the quality of hunt Bearpaw outfitters offers, thanks again Dale!

I will post some more pictures later of the entire crew and the dogs.. They are some amazing animals!

Cool deal!  Good to hear you were able to get on one.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

What I think is that bighammer's avatar girl and bowhunters avatar girls should take turns seeing who is the better kisser! :chuckle:   Oh and nice kitty
