i use to hunt mashel unit infact took a4x3 with eye guards in 07 took a 3x3 with eye guards in 08 within 100 yards of each other but now i refuse to pay 4 the discovery pass not cause of money issues but princple it cost enuff money 2 hunt in this state as it is its not like its top notch hunting here any way i would think about paying the 30$ if the money went back into the game but it dosent this state has the potential 2 have good hunting like oregon idaho and so on but piss poor game managment period

I was in there last year and only saw a few rigs with the pass.... I didn't have one..... Thought a timber company owned most of that country???

Hancock Timber company owns alot of land around there just make sure you know where you are because they will get you for criminal trespassing if caught on hancock land without a hancock premit.

I'm sure there isn't a BT GMU out there that doesn't hold blacktail bucks I'd consider trophies, but if you're going by the score rating I'd think you'd have to go with a cascade BT unit and blast one that got some mulie genetics passed down to it.
