Thanks for the pic's. Too me, the impressive one is the first picture, upper dead center looking at the camera. Pierce County Blacktail. That thing is so wide. I was slobbering over that one.

So what did you win?  Was it the medal or was it cash or prizes?

I am assuming thats the 140 buck.   Sure is a nice blacktail.    I love the one to the right of him.   Old mossyhorns are my fave!

I'd like to congratulate Tommy who got 1st place in the Youth Mule deer section.  He got his deer last year over in the Davenport area.  2nd deer to make the record book for youth off the property we lease in 3 years.  His deer was a gross score of 146 and a net of 142.  Good job Tommy!

Did you get a pic of the new state record muzzy bull taken in king county. He scored 398

From King County? Was it a watershed bull?

Second place runner ups received a range bag, eye pro w/ multiple lens, a coast knife, and a headphone. I'm not sure what the first place runner up received...The Mounts received a medal, White for 1st and red for 2nd, green for 3rd...There was an overall prize for a gun safe, but that drawing won't be done until the Oregon expo....Hoped this helped out....

I got a knife and a flashlight that at first was making me wish i had gotten the binoculars that were going with the knife to some other guys....but the light is actually pretty cool too upon further review.  Any of the prizes are just icing on the cake....like I said i just wanted the horns scored and didn't even care about the contest.  The drawing for the gun safes is after 3 other shows, then they pick two or three winners for those, like a raffle drawing with the winners tickets stubs.  I just liked walking around with my kids and having people ask about the horns, I think the kids were eating it up too.  Of course there was the guy that asked me where I had bought them at the show and how much they were.  Then he wanted to know what animal they came from  :)  REALLY?!

If this is true it should have not even be counted as a winner.    Was he sitting on his porch while the elk was at his feeder.   :bash: :bash:

Don't know about a 398 bull but this one was taken close to there.
