Coolest duck I have ever shot so far is this Shoveler Drake. It was the one duck that I set out to kill for the wall this year and I managed to put one down with not an ounce of damage done to any feathers. Can't wait to get this back from the taxi.

Primo Bootlip! we never see them that good around here during the season

Man that's a hard call! Probably going to have to go with Eurasian Wigeon, that's the bird i was most excited about. Second and third place goes to my Harlequin and Long-Tailed.

My coolest duck was a pin tail drake, but what what made it so cool was how I got it:

My buddy and I were still putting out dekes when I saw some ducks swinging in.   I didn't bother to tell my buddy they were coming.   I just slipped a couple shells in and when they got close I pounded one.   He was dead and falling, and of course my buddy yanked up at the shot.............   just in time for the dead duck to nail him in the chest.

I still laugh when I think of the look on his face when he got duck slapped.
