they were all from the same area, All within a mile of the salt water. That first buck was from 2 years ago, and has the biggest frame I've ever seen! The buck with the funky nostril and eye had been beaten on bad. In fact most of the bucks we saw were limping, bleeding, or looked pretty roughed up. The second post.... I followed that first buck and was taking pictures when he stopped in his tracks and headed the other direction, I think the buck in the second pic of the 2nd post was the one who gored his eye out. I was about 10 yards when I noticed him starring through the brush at me. He was grunting and snorting, so I snapped a pic through the brush and got outta there. I wanted to keep both my eyeballs.

dude those are some of the coolest blacktail pics i have ever seen, next question is do you need someone to help you thin the heard, cause i know know this pretty damn cool dude "me" that would be more than happy to help you out... :chuckle:
