Wellif you have super long life anti freeze then both fluids willbe pink in color.  If dirt is clouding the color then I guess you could distinguish by the fact that antifreeze is water based whereas trannie fluid is oil based.

Good luck.

Fix it ASAP.... I just had to have my Tranny rebuilt in my 99 dodge at 99,200 miles.  I told them to build it bullet proof as I tow alot.  Everything is heavy duty now!!!!!!

It probably is the transmission cooler, trace the leak back to be sure and replace the part, that cooler flows about a quart every 15 seconds at idle speed, it doesn't take long to lose a lot of fluid.
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

yes at first i thought it was antifreeze but i changed it out and replaced all the hose's.so i wiped everything clean  and i did notice on the cooler was discolored  with an oily substance  so now i 'll check it again it a couple days  i also better check tranny fluid level .so thanks for the comments  have a good one
