this was the 4th buck we had seen that day, and he was finally able to get a shot and put him down. Not a bad buck for a first deer.

very cool! hope I can get my son his first deer this year. we have tried archery but were switching to modern this year to hopefully increase his chances.

That's bigger than my first buck and I didn't get him until I was 17. Congratulations to the kid :tup:
